You need a valid EPC to sell or rent most buildings in the UK. Landlords generally need a minimum rating to let a property. Check current rules for your situation, or ask me.
How long does an EPC last?
10 years, unless you make improvements and want a new certificate to show the better rating.
What should I have ready for the visit?
Access to every room, the loft and the boiler or heating controls. Any paperwork for insulation, windows or recent upgrades helps raise accuracy.
